Do I need to offer my home to be a member?
You can participate in various ways: as a guest, host, or by making direct home swap, simultaneously or non-simultaneously.
Our flexible system adapts to different comfort levels and lifestyles. Reciprocity is an important value. Therefore, if you stay at someone's home but do not want to offer your own, you should rent another home for your future guests who were once your hosts (should this be the agreement between both parties).

Do I need to own a house to participate?
No, authorization to host is sufficient. It's like lending your home to friends.
Why can we only join by invitation?
We preserve quality and organic growth through committed people and organizations. We create hospitality experiences among trusted communities. Our safety and freedom are based on peaceful coexistence among people who respect differences and are actively against speciesism, racism, homophobia, ableism. Any expression intolerant of diversity, human rights, and animal rights will not be accepted on our platforms.
Is there a direct financial exchange?
No, the network is based on the exchange of lodging and hospitality. Members can agree on a fee for professional cleaning.

50% of your annual membership fee is donated directly through the Open Collective platform.
